Chapter 598 - 597: Reactions of the remaining people in the Sun Base

While the others were clearing the debris, they also collected the bodies of the people that were buried by those pile of debris.Myla and the others moved fast; just after Nathan finished treating Liam and Zam, they managed to clear out all the debris, but in the end, they didn't manage to rescue anyone alive.

So, only the people that were around Treyton and the others were left alive, as they were included inside the metal walls that Treyton had made and were also protected by the abilities of the other members.

Treyton and the others were obviously affected because some of those that had died were the so-called slaves in the Sun Base, which means most of them were victims.

But in the end, they didn't react much and just covered those bodies and planned to cremate them all later on.

As for the rest of the subordinates of the dead leaders of the Sun Base, they were still tied up and would be dealt with by Treyton and the others later on.

By the time they finished cleaning up their surroundings and by the time Yang and the others had arrived to where they were, it was already sunrise.

So, Treyton briefly talked to them and arranged some to guard the gates and some to gather all the people at the base so that they could make a proper announcement.

The wide open area at the Sun Base was enough to accommodate all the people in the Sun Base, so Treyton arranged all of them to gather in that area.

Afterwards, Treyton and the members with him who had been involved in the explosion went to their RVs to clean up a bit, as their faces were covered with dirt and their clothes were torn or burnt in different areas, which isn't really good to appear in such condition in front of a lot of people—especially Treyton, who's the leader of the team.

Yang, who was in charge of arranging people to gather the people of the Sun Base, called after 20 minutes and informed them that almost all the people in the Sun Base were finally gathered.

Treyton and the others had also finished cleaning up, and their wounds were also dealt with by Nathan and Camille, so they quickly drove to the gathering area after Yang called them.

When they arrived, Luciel saw that the square was full of people, and those people were obviously anxious as they were looking here and there while also murmuring with each other.

They were obviously taught by those so-called masters that they had before, because most of them were murmuring silently without much sound, even though all of them were very worried about what would happen to them because Yang and the others were obviously strangers and not the previous ones that had been managing them before.

Treyton also mentioned that since those people that had been controlling them had been defeated, they were finally free and could go to other places or just stay in the Sun Base if they wanted.

Treyton spoke concisely but managed to tell what the people needed to know in summary.

Treyton was about to continue speaking, probably to continue and give more details and explanations to the things that he had just mentioned, but before he could continue speaking, he was interrupted by some of the reactions of the people below.

After Treyton had mentioned that they had dealt with the people that were controlling them and treating them as slaves, Luciel saw that a lot of people were obviously happy, and they became happier and obviously relieved after Treyton mentioned that they could go anywhere they wanted later on.
