Chapter 612 - 611: Getting near the sea 2
But because they were going toward the bridge, which had also been used by a lot of people before, the number of zombies didn't decrease; instead, it still increased the nearer they got to the bridge.Along the way, they even encountered a very aggressive mutant cat that immediately attacked them as soon as it saw their cars.
The mutant cat was also obviously bigger and stronger than Lulu and Lily, which were the strongest mutant cats they had encountered before.
However, because of the number of strong people in their team, the mutant cat didn't pose any problem to them since it was alone.
So, the mutant cat was even left for those who needed more training to handle it while being supervised by the other members.
After traveling for two days they finally saw the bridge that they had to use.
"The bridge seems to be okay, it's just that there's a lot of cars and zombies that were stranded there," Luciel said while looking at the bridge ahead of them.
Of course, they currently couldn't see the whole bridge, as the bridge was still long and curved to their right, so they couldn't see it properly as it was blocked by all the tall buildings on their right side. They would have to travel a bit before they could see the whole state of the bridge.
"There won't be a problem with dealing with all the zombies and those cars that are blocking the way. I just hope that all parts of the bridge are indeed alright," Treyton said while also looking at the bridge ahead of them.
Most of them were all out of their RV and were also looking at the bridge, as well as the wide river and the sea ahead of them. The view that they could see was actually good, but it would certainly be better without the zombies that were roaming on the bridge, as the view of the river and sea was quite peaceful and nice to look at.
All the younger kids around them were excitedly looking at the waves crashing in the distance, as well as looking at the flowing river that was nearby. They kept looking back and forth from the river to the sea, commenting about it. They were obviously very happy to see such a scene. The kids were also saying that those zombies on the bridge were an eyesore.
Of course, all of them who were also looking at the view had the same thought as the kids. The view was good and peaceful, and it was still a good place to look at, as it was hard to see such a good view in other places any longer.
Fortunately, the stench of the zombies wasn't as strong as in the beginning, since all the zombies had also leveled up a bit and had hardened their bodies, so it didn't further affect their enjoyment.
Of course, they also knew that they were only able to enjoy the scene in front of them because the mutant animals and zombie creatures in the water hadn't sensed them and hadn't been disturbed; that's why all they could see currently was a peaceful scene just like before.
However, those thoughts didn't interrupt them from enjoying the view, as most of them stopped what they were doing for the time being and enjoyed the view while resting.
After a while, the other members finally started doing something, especially Nina and Richard, who were in charge of their food, as they were starting to prepare their meals and also some food that they had to keep.
They had already consumed a lot of the food that Nina and the others had prepared before, as they had also given some to the kids that they had given donations to before.
So, they had to prepare more so that they'll have more readily available food again for later. The others had also started planning their later rotation in cleaning up the blockade on the bridge as well as the zombies.
As for him and Treyton, they were still sitting on top of their RV and looking at the view, as well as the kids who were outside of the RV and were still chattering happily.
"I had always been busy and had few chances of sitting around while relaxing like this. Now, I regret not relaxing more before," Treyton said while looking at the sea.
Luciel also had such regrets just like Treyton before, especially when he had experienced the apocalypse. He was also still young just like Treyton, but he was already very busy because of his acting career.
He was also successful in his career before, so even though he wasn't the most popular actor, he still had a lot of work. He had also visited a lot of places with nice views for acting, for advertisements, and for other things, but he didn't enjoy much of it as he was very busy working.
He also had a few days of vacation, but even though he spent it in nice places, he actually didn't go out that much. So, when the apocalypse came, he also had such regrets just like Treyton.
He could perfectly understand what Treyton was saying because when he searched before, it showed that Treyton had always been busy because of the affairs of their company, as well as the things that his grandfather wanted him to do, which certainly added more to the things that he had to do.
Luciel understood, but he still said in a teasing manner, "You hadn't had such time before? You had various lovers before, didn't you stay with them in relaxing places?"
"That's not the same. And I didn't have time to go on vacation with those people. Besides, I'm not even sure if I could indeed relax with their presence," Treyton said immediately.
Luciel chuckled, as he completely got what Treyton meant. The personalities of the people that Treyton had been with before were varied, so he certainly wouldn't be sure if those people wouldn't disturb him, as some might even cause more trouble, so it certainly wouldn't be relaxing.
