Chapter 618 - 617: Surviving another earthquake and tsunami

He didn’t see anything at Treyton’s side, so he didn’t linger and quickly moved to the window on the other side overlooking the sea.Even though it was already dark, he could still see a few large sea creatures surfacing. They hadn’t seen any in the past, so there was clearly something wrong, as those animals weren’t even paying attention to them but would just dive back and surface again.

As soon as he saw the scene, Luciel immediately brought out more vines that he had.

Luciel didn’t wait for the others and shouted while also speaking into the communicator that he had, "Brace the cars onto the bridge immediately!"

While saying so, Luciel had already controlled the vines that he had and grew them long enough to brace their RV to both sides of the bridge with three long, sturdy vines.

Securing their RV, he also began securing the RV closest to them in the same way. However, he hadn’t even managed to finish securing the last vine before he could already feel the surroundings shaking.

So, he quickly secured the last vine onto the bridge, immediately grew some more vines inside the RV, and secured the kids in the seats together with Camille. He also made a proper foothold for himself, as well as more vines to secure him as the shaking kept getting stronger.

On the communicator, Luciel could still hear Treyton ordering others to hold on, and then ordering Nichole and Dan, who were on the third RV, to move faster to secure their car, as their RV was the only one that wasn’t fully braced onto the bridge yet and could topple over.

It seemed that Treyton had also braced the two RVs that were near him with metals, and he had also finished the other RV near him.

The shaking was still getting stronger, but Luciel still moved closer to the window so that he could clearly see what’s happening outside.

A few seconds later, the intensity of the shaking was already very strong and wasn’t stopping. The shaking was very intense, but even though he was already getting dizzy, he still continued paying attention outside, knowing that with such a strong earthquake, the bridge they were on could be destroyed.

He didn’t know if the place they were at had already experienced a strong earthquake before, but with the continuous intensity of the earthquake, he didn’t know if the bridge could still hold on.

Their RV was already moving side to side and moving greatly, but the vines still hadn’t snapped.

It continued shaking for a minute, and the bridge hadn’t collapsed even though it was trembling continuously. "F*ck!" Luciel couldn’t help cursing, but still moved quickly and controlled the vines that he used to secure their RVs to grow longer, trying to latch them onto the undestroyed parts of the bridge.

He was controlling the vines of both of the RVs, but he saw that the third RV that they had was falling faster, while hearing Nichole shouting on the communicator that she hadn’t controlled the vines yet.

So, Luciel used more of his plant powers that were connected to the second RV to forcefully grow more vines to secure the third RV that was falling.

The fourth and fifth RVs that Treyton was supporting were lucky, as they seemed to be just at the edge of the collapse, so they weren’t endangered of falling with Treyton securing those RVs. The third RV was also closer to the edge, so he quickly controlled those vines to latch onto the place where Treyton and the others were.

While doing so, the RV he was in and the second RV were swaying farther, as he had secured them on the other side that hadn’t collapsed yet. Since they were moving away, he couldn’t spend more energy in controlling the vines on the third RV as he needed to continue securing the two RVs with him, so he immediately said, "I’ll cut off my control on the third RV, you guys can continue securing it."

After saying so, he quickly moved on to securing their RV and the second RV to the uncollapsed part of the bridge on the other side.

However, it seemed that their luck really wasn’t good, because the part where they had just secured their RVs also collapsed with the continuous shaking, and the place where Luciel hurriedly tried to latch the vines was also collapsing.

"F*ck it! Those in the second RV, gather near the door and jump out afterwards. Treyton! We’ll continue going south!" Then he added with laughter, "We’ll see how far the water would carry us."

Afterwards, Luciel quickly controlled the vines that were securing the kids and Camille to his side.

While also opening the door of their RV, he quickly made a large, airtight box with the vines that he had, quickly controlled the vines holding the others to the box, and then touched the whole RV to put it in their space while jumping onto the box that he made.

Then, with the vines that he was controlling to hold the second RV, he used them to quickly pull the box he was in to that second RV, as it was heavier than them and was also falling faster.

As soon as they were near the second RV, he saw Nathan opening the RV, with Nate controlling the wind to support all the other people in the second RV near the door.
